ITA – Durante la Settimana Santa ogni paese riscopre le proprie tradizioni. A Foiano della Chiana (Arezzo) ogni anno tantissime persone partecipano alla processione del Venerdì Santo ma il momento più sentito è la cerimonia del “Volo”, durante la vigilia di Pasqua. A mezzanotte la statua del Cristo risorto, caricata da otto portantini, corre lungo la navata della Collegiata, in quel momento la banda suona una marcia festosa che celebra la resurrezione.
ENG – During the Holy Week every town rediscover theyr own tradition. In Foiano della Chiana (Arezzo) every year many people attend the Good Friday procession but the peak moment is during the “Volo” (flight) ceremony at Easter’s eve. At midnight the statue of the risen Christ, carried by eight porters, runs over the “Collegiata” (main church) nave, in the meantime a band plays a festive march that celebrates the resurrection.
